That book sounds terribly envy inducing. I'm eagerly awaiting your post on making the pistachio gelato- I'll be interested to hear how the texture and consistency turn out. I've been told it's difficult to obtain the light, airyness of gelato made in professional machines with a home ice cream maker but then I've also read contradicitng statements.
