Having followed your blog, I totally ruled out the newbie baker possibility. I'm sure the original recipe, or at least the one used in the photo shoot, used fine semolina instead of regular cornmeal. There are so many types, from stone-ground to really, really fine semolina. One cup of stone-ground cornmeal and one cup of fine cornmeal will create a HUGE difference in the texture of the end product.

I blame the recipe. :)Adminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05909218929633317461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1043567387409721448.post-73767102743399665232010-02-05T07:28:32.306-06:002010-02-05T07:28:32.306-06:00I love the color of this bread!I love the color of this bread!♥peachkins♥https://www.blogger.com/profile/07509102904424388743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1043567387409721448.post-77398244708123418522010-02-04T21:32:49.072-06:002010-02-04T21:32:49.072-06:00That cranberry bread looks really good! That cranberry bread looks really good!Mediterranean Turkish Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11119693459213190159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1043567387409721448.post-13826542730876181282010-02-04T19:06:19.234-06:002010-02-04T19:06:19.234-06:00Gorgeousness...
