I believe crostata is the Italian term and galette is French. But, galette is sometimes used to refer to a cake as well.<br /><br />Dana: At first, I wasn't sure if this was a savory or sweet tart, and it could go either way. For savory, I'd skip the sugar in the crust and maybe just drizzle a little honey over the filling rather than use the full amount.
